Education
Every year, TCC members sponsor the Chemicals and the Environment Science Teachers Institute. Fourth - 12th Grade science school teachers from around the state are selected to attend the University of Houston for a 10-day college credit program designed to improve chemical and environment education in Texas.
ESPRS
Adopted in 1991 as condition of membership in TCC, the Environmental and Safety Performance Reporting System provides that each facility make certain environmental and safety information available to the public.
Chemicals Day in Austin
This event takes place during legislative sessions and educates members of the Legislature about the chemical industry in Texas.
Annual EHS Seminar
TCC’s largest annual seminar, which for over a decade has attracted hundreds of safety professionals dedicated to preventing injuries and illnesses in the workplace, was expanded in 2001 to include environmental and health topics.
