Texas has seen its competitiveness continue to fall with regard to the chemical industry and economic development incentives. TCC encourages the Texas Legislature to evaluate our State's competitiveness and the role that taxes and other incentives play.

Tax Equity
TCC supports the equitable distribution of business sector taxes among all businesses (service and manufacturing). Homeowners and businesses should share the responsibility in funding our public school system.

Split Tax Roll
TCC supports preserving the constitutional provisions that require all classes of tax payers to be treated equally and opposes any legislation that splits the tax roll either through the property appraisal system or by applying different tax rates.
