Charge
To effectively manage water, waste, and pollution prevention issues for the chemical industry in Texas in a manner that is best for the state and its people.
This is accomplished by:
- Encouraging and participating in specific agency regulatory development initiatives through direct communications, work groups, formal testimony, and written comments;
- Working with TCC staff to develop key legislative issues and implementation strategies;
participating with interested parties and other trade associations;
- Proactively engaging member-company representatives to work on legislative and regulatory issues of importance to the chemical industry;
- Communicating issues and possible solutions to our members through representatives, committee meetings and minutes, and position papers;
- Fulfilling other responsibilities delegated to the committee by the TCC Board or Executive Committee.
