Charge
To raise a positive profile of the Texas chemical industry through community education, media communications and issue forecasting and messaging by:

  • Providing a unified industry voice on media and community issues that involve and impact the chemical industry, its image and its member companies;
  • Generating collaboration on industry issues and developing position papers, media standby statements, community outreach strategies and earned media opportunities;
  • Providing media and messaging support on key legislative and regulatory issues;
  • Identifying industry and independent expert spokespeople to respond to media inquiries when necessary or beneficial; and
  • Designing image improvement opportunities and education opportunities at the local and state level.
