To effectively advocate responsible air quality policy.
The Air Conservation Committee leadership and individual members should:
- Identify and pursue opportunities to ensure that air quality legislation and regulations are practical, cost-effective and environmentally beneficial;
- Gain input from a cross-section of members to ensure that representative positions are presented;
- Establish professional working partnerships to define priorities and to ensure timely action;
- Assess air issues relating to other health and environmental areas, and collaborate with other stakeholders in resolving them;
- Coordinate with and support the American Chemistry Council (ACC) on federal activities; and
- Communicate Air Conservation Committee activities and relevant events to build value in TCC member companies.
