Texas Chemical Council and its member companies engage in practices which protect the health and safety of chemical industry employees and the public. These health and safety practices:
- Provide employee training, risk assessment, and hazard evaluation for the manufacturing, handling, transportation, and disposal of chemical products;
- Provide for the operation of facilities in a manner protecting the health and safety of chemical industry employees, their contractors and the public;
- Provide the goal of an injury-free workplace, through a commitment to investment in safety, employee motivation, and continuous improvement in performance;
- Provide for cooperation with government and others regarding the development of and compliance with laws, regulations, and standards based upon sound scientific principles;
- Promote research and information sharing about health and safety with other industry members, government, and the public; and
- Monitor employee health and safety in order to compare and improve such practices; and
- Provide Job Safety Analysis Instructions and Worksheets in both English and Spanish
